The Australian Birth Defects Society (ABDS) was formed in 1983 by a group of professionals interested in the causes and prevention of birth defects. Regular seminars are held throughout the year, with both local and overseas speakers. A regular newsletter is mailed to members and incorporates a teratogen update, reviews and opinions.
